How can we help?

There’s no account to recover and no server holding your data, so most answers are in the app — and below. For anything else, write to us.

  • About the app A bug, a question, privacy or deletion help. [email protected] Also in the app: Self → Settings → Send feedback.
  • Anything else Everything that isn’t about the app itself. [email protected]
  • In crisis? everQUIN can’t monitor your wellbeing or summon help. In the US, call or text 988. Elsewhere, call your local emergency number.

Questions

Help, answered.

More on pricing and the app.

Which phones does it run on?

everQUIN arrives on the App Store for iPhone on November 5, 2026. Android follows when Play testing finishes, and Android testers are welcome now — join the testers. A browser version at app.everquin.com runs from the same source, without notifications, weather, photos or purchases. See Get the app.

Do I need an account?

No. everQUIN has no user accounts. Everything you write, mark and photograph stays on your phone, in private storage kept out of iCloud and Google backups. We don’t have a copy, so we can’t recover it for you — make a backup if it matters to you.

How do I back up, or move to a new phone?

Self → Settings → Your data → Backup & restore. A backup is a file the app hands to your share sheet; it goes only where you put it (Files, a drive, an email to yourself), and it includes everything, photos too — keep it somewhere you trust. Saving a backup is part of Patron; restoring one is free for everyone. You can also export everything as Markdown or JSON from the same screen.

How do I delete my data?

Self → Settings → Delete all data → Delete everything. It wipes the profile, journal, marvels and their photos, rings and their photos, margin notes and reading progress. It cannot be undone. Uninstalling the app also deletes all of its data. To delete one thing, delete it where it lives.

I bought something, but it isn’t showing.

Open the Patron screen in the app and tap Restore past purchases. It re-applies a purchase or active subscription tied to the same store account. Purchases don’t transfer between store accounts or between iPhone and Android.

How do I cancel or manage my subscription?

In your store account, not inside everQUIN. iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions (or apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions). Android: Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions (or play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions). Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access through the end of the paid period. Single items and Founding Patron are unaffected.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies — we can’t issue store refunds directly. We never see your payment details.

I requested a beta invite. Can you delete it?

Yes. Write to [email protected] and we’ll delete your request. Otherwise the list is deleted when the beta ends. What it holds is set out in section 16 of the privacy policy.
